Serves 6
Here's what you'll need:
- 1 pitcher
- 4 cups boiling water (180°F)
- 4 tsp loose or 4 teabags of Truly Green (I used teabags for this recipe)
- 3 sprigs fresh mint (plus more for garnish)
- 1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
- 2 cups cold water
- Ice
DIRECTIONS:
- Bring the 4 cups to boil at 180°F. Once the water reaches 180°F remove from heat, add the 4 teabags of Truly Green and 3 springs of mint to the heated water and let steep for 5 minutes together. Then take out the green tea and let the mint steep for an additional 10 mins.
- Remove the teabags and the mint and stir in the honey.
- In a large pitcher add the green tea and honey mixture add ice and 2 cups of cold water and stir.
- Serve over ice and garnish with more fresh mint.
