Here's what you'll need:
- 2 cups water
- 6 tsp loose or 6 teabags of Mango Peach tea
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar (you can add more or less depending on taste preference)
- 1 mango
- 1 liter of cold soda water
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 lemon juiced and 1/2 lemon for garnish
- Fine mesh strainer
- Pitcher (2 quart pitcher)
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat water and sugar on high heat in a medium sauce pan. Stir while waiting for the mixture to boil. (approximately 212°F)
- While you're waiting for the tea to steep, dice half the mango set aside and smash the other mango with a fork in a bowl and set aside.
- Once boiling turn off heat and add Mango Peach tea to the sauce pan. Steep tea for 10-12 minutes. Remove teabags once steeped and squeeze out any remaining tea from the bags before discarding the bags.
- Next use fine mesh strainer and strain out as much mango juice from the mashed mango. Then add the mashed mango to the mixture in the pan and stir.
- Once mixed pour the brewed mixture over a strainer into a pitcher to preventing the mashed mango going into the pitcher.
- Add the 1 liter of soda water.
- Add the pinch of salt and the lemon juice then stir gently to combine.
- Serve immediately over ice, garnish with diced mangos and enjoy!
